Drone Services can be supplied for clients that have a need for fly-bys of their plants on the exterior and internal inspections of tanks, silos, and stacks while in operation to detect leaks, corrosion, or other conditions that would normally require a complete plant shut-down and adding additional access.
The drone can safely enter most areas in lieu of personnel and record the flight for later review. The drone can be beneficial especially in confined spaces to conduct inspections without exposing personnel to possible hazardous environments.
Also, the costs are reduced by not needing a dedicated hole watch and specialized safety and rescue apparatuses. The drones small physical size can fit through most access ports and manways. Contact IMI for further information and capabilities.
